New Delhi [India], August 24: Maharashtra-based fintech platform Nishwik is building technology around the financial journeys connecting schools, hospitals, housing societies, people and regulated financial institutions.
India’s digital transformation has fundamentally changed the way people move money. Payments that once required cash, paperwork or a visit to a branch can increasingly be completed within seconds.
But according to Vinay Pandey, Founder & CEO of Nishwik Global Fintech Pvt. Ltd., digitising payments is only one part of a much larger opportunity.
Many important financial journeys still begin inside institutions people interact with every day—a child’s school, a hospital during an important moment of care, or the housing society they call home.
Behind those interactions can be multiple systems, manual processes, separate payment journeys and disconnected financial relationships.
The company is developing a connected technology and financial-distribution ecosystem beginning with three major institutional environments:
Rather than positioning Nishwik simply as another ERP or payment application, the company is working toward connecting institutional operations, digital payments and financial journeys through technology, with regulated financial products and services provided by respective authorised partners where applicable.
“Our vision for Nishwik is to build that connection—with technology, transparency and trust at the centre.”
For schools, this means looking beyond isolated administration or fee collection toward a more connected institutional financial experience.
For hospitals, it means exploring how technology can make billing, payments and eligible financing journeys simpler for both institutions and the people they serve.
For housing societies, the opportunity extends from day-to-day administration and maintenance collections to clearer financial workflows and greater transparency.
Behind these institutional journeys is another important part of Nishwik’s vision: connecting relevant requirements with banks, NBFCs and other regulated or authorised financial partners.
Nishwik itself does not seek to replace these institutions.
For Pandey, the company’s first newspaper appearance represents an early milestone in a much longer journey.
As India’s digital economy matures, the next generation of financial technology may not be defined simply by adding more applications.
It may be defined by how effectively existing financial journeys can finally be connected.
Built in Maharashtra. Building for India.
Connecting Institutions. Finance. Life.
